Goodbye to you, Shemar Moore. The Criminal Minds star, who was with the show from the start, left the CBS procedural after 11 years. To say he's left an impact on the series and his costars is an understatement.

"What I'll miss most about Shemar?" Matthew Gray Gubler says in the video below. "I mean, everything."

After his last episode, executive producer Erica Messer released a statement saying the team has nothing but love and respect for Moore and his decision to "try new things."

Moore's character left Criminal Minds' BAU team after several harrowing incidents to spend more time with his family.

"No one likes to say goodbye and I'm going to miss looking at his pretty face every day," A.J. Cook said.

Gubler said Moore became like an older brother to him.

"The special thing about family is a lot of times family and who you love dearest are people you wouldn't necessarily hang out with in real life, siblings are often quite different. I feel like that with Shemar. I never in a million years would've met him ‘cause I don't lift a lot of weights," Gubler said.

"He just has an energy about him that's contagious, so when Shemar walks in and he's got a pep in his step and he's excited to be here, it just makes everybody feel good," Messer said. "We know he needs to go and try to dosomething else and the door is always open for him."
