So the question is: Can pastels really be cool? Celebs like Kendall Jenner and Jamie Chung certainly make a case for it. The number one rule? "It's important to stick to just one piece that is a pastel color," shared celeb stylist Natalie Saidi. As for the rest of your look, the pro suggested keeping it neutral like Kendall does with a cream shirt and a camel coat.

"Be sure to always have a cool factor, too, like a leather jacket, a duster, moto boots or sexy pumps," noted Vanessa Hudgens' wardrobe adviser. If your look still feels too prim and proper, edge it up with chunky jewelry. That will instantly give your look a casual-cool vibe. A bunch of rings, a choker necklace or stud earrings are Natalie's choice accessories.
