Iggy Azalea is tearing down her clothing and her walls for the latest issue of New Zealand's Remix magazine.

The female emcee poses topless (again) for the April issue of the publication and opens up about her career, her infamous feuds and what she does when she's not focused on music.

Despite the heavy involvement of her team on her first album, The New Classic, she's decided to really focus on her own taste and opinions for her sophomore album, Digital Distortion.

"I love The New Classic, I think it's a great album," she explained, "But I do think I lost myself in it a bit because I was so concerned with other people's opinions."

Letting go of other people's opinions might be best for Iggy, who found herself in some heated feuds over the last year when she cared a bit too much about what everyone else thought.

She now chalks up criticism from her musical peers (likely referencing Azealia Banks) as their inability to compete with her.

"The artists that criticise me don't have as much success as me, so I think it gets them riled up, because they're not selling as much as I am," she told the magazine. "I honestly think that's what it boils down to...I don't want to say it's just people being jealous, but I do think the level of success I've had and how many fans I have and the amount of records I sell does have a lot to do with it."

However, sometimes the media and other people are at fault for creating fake feuds the never actually existed. For example, Iggy's 2014 Billboard cover story which people assumed was critiquing fellow New Zealand artist Lorde.

"I almost collaborated with Lorde on this album! I sent her the song and it didn't get done in time, but it's one of my artistic goals to collaborate with her," she promised. "I hope it can happen, if not on this album then another. I think she's awesome."

Feuds and music aside, Iggy focuses her attention on other things. She owns two horses that she spends time riding at least a couple times a week. She's also started a production company with which she hopes to set out on another career path children's television shows.

"I like to make my own music videos and I've directed a lot of them, but I also like to put together concepts that are removed from me, so I've just started to develop children's shows, and I'm working with screenwriters on that."
