Bella Hadid was named Model of the Year at the Daily Front Row's second annual Fashion Los Angeles Awards. This title, which was previously awarded to Bella's big sis Gigi Hadid, is a huge honor, but accepting it with the world watching is understandably a little nerve-wracking!
Bella, 19, told E! News that boyfriend The Weeknd helped ease those pre-show jitters. "Honestly, it feels amazing to be able to just hold his hand," she said, "and he's like, 'You're fine, don't worry.'"
When Bella told her man she'd "never been this nervous in my life," he reassured her once again with his simple words of advice: "You're fine, don't worry!"
"So it's nice to have a support system like that," Bella said with a smile. "He's so great. I'm happy he's here!"
Bella's #ProudMommy Yolanda Foster showed her support on social media, Instagramming a photo of her daughter accepting her award. "Out beauty attracts but inner beauty captivates," wrote the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star. " It was captivating to watch my baby girl receive the "MODEL OF THE YEAR" Award tonight- Thank you to @dailyfrontrow#FashionAwards for this extraordinary recognition amongst so many talented people......"
