All eyes were on Gigi Hadid tonight at The Daily Front Row's Fashion Los Angeles Awards. The supermodel stunned in a sheer dress that showed off her hot bod, especially her long legs.

So why was she reduced to tears during the second annual event at the Sunset Tower Hotel?

Hadid became emotional while presenting Carine Roitfeld with magazine of the year for CR Fashion Book.

"You have made CR Fashion Book forever iconic and forever young," Hadid said.

But then she began to choke up. "One a personal note, thank you for believing in and giving me these past few years and being an unequivocal mentor and friend," she said.

Roitfeld gave Hadid her first magazine cover three years ago when she was 17. "My career would be unrecognizable without you," Hadid said.

Hadid is on the cover of CR's latest issue. "It's so surreal to be back on the cover of the magazine that changed my life," she said.

Hadid's younger sister Bella Hadid (who had her boyfriend The Weeknd by her side) was honored with model of the year. Lady Gaga not only presented an award to Brandon Maxwell, but she was also named editor of the year for her work guest editing an issue of V. Kate Hudson presented her friend Jennifer Meyer with jewelry designer of the year and Jennifer Lopez was on hand to honor Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn as women's stylists of the year. Keanu Reeves lauded Jeanne Yang as men's stylist of the year. Model Angela Lindvall helped honor newcomers Scott Studenberg and John Targon of Baja East.

Nicole Richie hosted the event.
