A "status only" divorce judgment was entered for Baccarin Thursday and was posted this morning. The judgment means the couple is officially divorced but will settle assets, issues and other items at a later date. They decided to call it quits after three years of marriage.
Back in February the Gotham actress delayed a divorce deposition because she was nearing the end of her pregnancy. The Brazilian-born actress declared in the documents, obtained by E! News, "I am now almost eight months pregnant, and I continue to have a high risk pregnancy. My physician, who I last saw on Jan. 29, 2016, has advised me to have as much bed rest as possible and limited activities."
Baccarin and boyfriend Benjamin McKenzie welcomed daughter Frances Laiz Setta Schenkkan March 2. "All are happy and healthy and appreciate the well-wishes," Baccarin's rep told E! News in a statement, reiterating that the couple is "so happy."
This was the second child for Baccarin, who shares a 2-year-old son, Julius, with Chick. The former couple was sharing custody of their son, but the bi-costal battle over physical custody was ongoing. Court documents revealed that Baccarin and Chick agreed to raise their child in New York, where Gotham is filmed, but he left for Los Angeles after learning she had a boyfriend. She was also previously ordered to pay Chick more than $22,000 per month in child and spousal support.
