Thanks to the beauty of McDonald's all-day breakfast, our fast food-loving eyes have been opened to new meal combo possibilities we never considered before.
Case in point: People are now choosing the McMuffin as a side order, instead of their main meal, and it's an amazing idea we wish we'd thought of first.
Quartz reported on the growing trend, following a conference this week where McDonald's chief financial officer spoke.
"Believe it or not, you may find some people order a lunch entree and ordering a Egg McMuffin sandwich as an add-on," said Kevin Ozan.
McDonald's has been on the up-and-up thanks to their all-day breakfast game, and now we know they have the Egg McMuffin to thank for it.
Breakfast offerings can be incorporated into your lunch and dinner orders. There are no rules. Mix and match to your Mickey D's heart's content.
Stack your burger and McMuffin together and make a giant sandwich out of it, if you want. It's 2016, and that's your right.
Be forewarned: There are some people who may warn against ordering egg dishes later in the day, but we should all make the fast food ordering decisions that are best for us.
