Willa Ford and husband Ryan Nece are expecting their first child, E! News has learned. The "I Wanna Be Bad" songstress and her former NFL star husband were married last spring.
A pop star in the early 2000s, Ford ultimately transitioned into acting, appearing in The Anna Nicole Smith Story, Magic City and Friday the 13th. She now runs an interior design business and is currently producing a reality DIY show featuring her decorating talents.
Her hubby used to play for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a linebacker, but now owns a venture capital company with his father and former pro Hall of Famer Ronnie Lott.
Ford was previously married to NHL player Mike Modano. They tied the knot in 2007 after dating on and off for more than four years. They decided to go their separate ways in 2012. "It is with great sadness that after five years of marriage, Willa and Mike have decided to divorce," the couple told E! News in a joint statement. "They remain friends and wish each other success and happiness."
They did not have any children together.
Ford and Nece's little bundle of joy is expected to arrive in August. Congratulations to the happy couple!
