The 34-year-old businesswoman has been traveling around the United States to help to support her father, Donald Trump, as he campaigns for president, all while working on her own projects and spending time with her kids, daughter Arabella, 4, and son Joseph, 2.
"They're the most important to me," Ivanka told Town & Country magazine in December.
Ivanka, who had appeared with her father on The Celebrity Apprentice for years, is an executive vice president of development and acquisitions at the Trump Organization, Donald's flagship real estate business. She also manages her own clothing and jewelry collections.
Ivanka performs "all sorts of gymnastics" with her work schedule to makes sure she is the first person her kids see in the morning and is also the person who puts them to bed, Town & Country reported.
"But I don't do everything," Ivanka told the magazine. "I wouldn't be able to do what I do professionally if I did. I don't go to the afternoon classes. I don't take my son to the sports playgroup in the middle of the day. For some people that's a compromise they aren't willing to make, and I respect that."
Donald, now the Republican party frontrunner, announced his presidential bid in June at an event at his Trump Tower in New York City. Ivanka was the one who introduced him there. Three months later, she announced her pregnancy via an online video.
While Ivanka is not officially part of her father's presidential campaign, she has sung his praises publicly and has made at least half a dozen personal appearances at his campaign events.
"He's my father and I love him and I fully support him," she told Town & Country. "I'm always there for him if it's helpful."
"His focus is on politics, and he is running for the highest elective office in this country, and arguably the world, and so from a business perspective I'm busier than ever," Ivanka added. "My brothers [Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr.] and I are running our business."
In October, Ivanka spoke at Fortune's Most Powerful Women Summit and was asked if she was happy her dad was running for president.
"That's a complicated question," she replied. "Um, so, 'happy' is an interesting word."
"I'm incredibly proud of him," she said, adding, "As a citizen, I love what he's doing. As a daughter, it's obviously more complicated because the level of interest and scrutiny is beyond anything I've ever experienced and I think, that's, I guess, to be expected."
She also said Donald is "an unbelievable leader" who "really empowers people."
Ivanka also talked about her relationship with Chelsea Clinton, whose mother Hillary Clinton is the frontrunner in the Democratic Party's race for the presidency and is widely expected to face off against Donald in the election.
"It has not been an issue for us," Ivanka told CNN. "I have great respect for her, she's been a great friend to me. I've been a great friend to her. So, you know, the politics of our parents is not relevant to our friendship."
Chelsea is also currently pregnant. She and husband Marc Mezvinsky are expecting their second child. Chelsea has often helped campaign for her mother over the past few months.
Also in October, Ivanka told CNN her dad will be "amazing" and "incredible for women in this country." She had also told Town & Country that her dad "clearly" respects women.
"Otherwise, I wouldn't be where I am," she said.
Would Ivanka consider running for president herself one day?
"I do not think so, but I have learned in life to never say never! It is too limiting!" she told Cosmopolitan in an interview published in the magazine's April 2016 issue. "It is too limiting!"
