The five-time Grammy winner launched her Sweet Sweet Fantasy tour in Glasgow on a glamorous high note—literally—taking the stage at The SSE Hydro in Scotland after being carried around like a musical queen on a velvet bed.
Looking her most fabulous yet, the 45-year-old newly engaged mom of two showed off her fit physique in a Yousef Al-Jasmi champagne bodysuit adorned with dangling embellishments and sheer cutouts. The international tour marks the tenth one in Carey's multi-decade career and will take her from Scotland across Europe to Germany, Italy, and Poland and is scheduled to finish in South Africa on May 2.
It's been quite the whirlwind new year for Carey, who recently said "Yes" to her longtime boyfriend, Australian billionaire James Packer, after his proposal in late January with a 35-carat ring.
"I'm feeling fantastic, better than ever," she told E! News after confirming the engagement news exclusively.
The summer was equally busy as she launched her second Las Vegas residency show in May 2015 at Caesars Palace. The following August, the singer finally received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame after countless chart-topping hits and an endless list of career accolades.
With all that is going on in her life today, it seemed like the perfect time for Carey to sign on for an eight part docu-series with E! to chronicle her juggling act between being a mom, a mogul and a musical star about to say "I Do."
"I'm excited to bring my fans into my life for the next journey I'm about to embark on," Mariah said in a press release announcing the new project. "I'm already having so much fun with this documentary and I know you will too. There is nothing like capturing these moments."
