Watch: Gayle King "Feels Great" About 25-Pound Weight Loss

Hard work is paying off for Gayle King!

As her weight-loss journey with Weight Watchers continues, the CBS This Morning co-host can't help but show off her progress and gush about how she's feeling.

"I feel really good and I know there's more work to do," she shared with E! News at the New York City premiere of HBO's new documentary Everything Is Copy. "But I feel really good."

She continued, "I've lost at least 25 pounds and I thought I'd be done by now but there's a dress I'm trying to get into that I used to wear two years ago. If I can get into that dress, then I know I can start the maintenance program, which by the way is just as hard."

Ever since her journey began last fall, the journalist has faced a few hurdles. Between a holiday beachside vacation with a few famous friends, a birthday party and an overall busy schedule, there were many days filled with a bit of temptation.

But Gayle is the first to admit that results don't happen overnight. Instead, she follows a mindset of "slow and steady wins the race."

"You get to where you want to get to and then people take is as a license like I'm done. You're not done," she explained Monday night at The Museum of Modern Art. "You really have to start the whole process of maintenance. I can't wait to start that, but I'm not there yet."

Until then, Gayle has the support of many fans including Oprah Winfrey who is also finding results on the program.

"We don't compete about anything," Gayle assured E! News. "We truly are cheering each other on always."
