Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott's son had to celebrate his last year in the single digits with something epic, and he succeeded.

E! News has obtained exclusive photos from Liam McDermott's 9th birthday party, which occurred over the weekend at their Encino, Calif., home, and this family made sure to bring out all the stops to bring famous video games to life for the event!

Appropriately dubbed #LiamLevel9, the couple threw their son a gaming themed party, complete with a game bus from Game On Game Trucks, a bounce house, his favorite burger truck Son of a Bun, a snow cone cart, and a dessert table designed by his famous mama. Additionally, all of the lucky attendees got T-shirts with a game controller and "#LiamLevel9" on it to remember the party.

Meanwhile, Spelling rocked a Luigi green short with jeans, while her hubby got real festive with it and wore a complete Mario get-up. But he wasn't your usual Mario, he was a cool Mario, with a gold chain and boom box on his shoulder.

The guests also got a VIP All Access Game pass and goodie bags by Spelling and a mind craft. Partygoers enjoyed a delish cake that was Donkey Kong theme, and even got to take a swing at a Mario piñata.

The fun family event comes shortly after Spelling gave NBC's Today an update on her marriage, which went through a rocky period over the last few years, but has luckily worked its way back on solid ground.

"Things are really great right now. We had to deconstruct our relationship. We really did," she recalled. "And I feel like we're kind of turning monogamy on its head, flipping it and being like, 'Well, through some fighting we've been told what life should be—what marriage should be."

"I wanted the fairy tale! I thought it should be that way. And then when it wasn't I was like, 'Well what do I do? Divorce my husband? I have four kids,'" she told Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hagar. "I was like, 'You know what? I love this man. I'm going to make this work.' And you know what? We started at ground zero and built it back up. It's amazing. In May it's going to be ten years. Ten years! A decade."

In fact, the famous fam-bam is gearing up for a fun new project.

Children Jack McDermott, 17, (from Dean's first marriage to Mary Jo Eustace), Liam, Stella McDermott, 7, Hattie McDermott, 4, and Finn McDermott, 3, will all appear in the couple's food-focused TV special, premiering March 20 at 8 p.m. on the Cooking Channel.

"I don't know if you're going to see much conflict here. It's the Cooking Channel! We cook. We craft. We have fun. We're a big family. I never knew I would have four kids. I have a stepson who lives with me. We have five kids at one time in the house. It's loud, chaotic and fun," Tori said. "No, everyone does not get along. They never get along!"

Let's just hope Dean decides to bust out this Mario costume again for the special.
