Jeff Kravitz/FilmMagicJustin Bieber gave his fans in Portland quite the surprise during his concert on Sunday night.
While stopping in the city for his Purpose World Tour—which just kicked off in Seattle last week—the 22-year-old singer added an acoustic version of the new track, reportedly titled "Insecurities," to his show.
He took a break from his choreography, shirtless on-stage showers and sexy dancers to add the low-key moment to the show, sitting on a couch in a flannel shirt with just the microphone and his guitar for the performance.
The song provides a similar message as many of the others from his new album Purpose with lyrics that focus on helping a woman overcome her insecurities. Though it didn't make it on the album, he hinted at the single during his GQ interview in February.
Meanwhile, speaking of songs about ex-girlfriends and such, Charlie Puth gave Bieber a not-so-friendly shout out during a recent concert. While singing a track he originally recorded with Selena Gomez, Puth stopped mid-song and said, "F--k you, Justin Bieber."
However, he quickly took to Twitter to apologize for what he promises was a big joke. Though the tweets were soon deleted, his fans grabbed a few screenshots: "What I said at the concert last night about Justin was meant to be a joke," Puth was quoted as saying. "However...That way it was said mid song did not sound like one. I am a massive @JustinBieber fan and I have nothing but great things to say about him and his music always."
We can't help if Bieber will respond at some point during his own tour...
