Metro-Goldwyn-MayerSay it isn't so! Reese Witherspoon just posted a super sad Instagram informing us of the passing of Bruiser Woods, the beloved pup of Elle Woods from Legally Blonde. Such a sad way to start a Friday, that's for sure. The actress wrote in her post, "I will never forget all the days we spent together ... I'm sure his tail is wagging in the sky." Someone pass the tissues. This is too much. We're certain Bruiser, also known as Moonie, is somewhere up in doggie heaven right now reminiscing about his days on set.
Bruiser's trainer, Sue Chip, also posted about the news on Instagram saying, "On this day - a day of "throwbacks" I give you one of the greatest little dogs..."Moonie" of Legally Blonde fame. I'm sad to say that this morning in Los Angeles he left us. He was a whopping 18 years old. I remember the day I brought him home as a puppy." Is anyone else getting really emotional right now?
Reese tweeted the above pic of the two of them looking lovey on the set of Legally Blonde. So stylish that pup was! Is that a chain from Tiffany's? Get, it BB. On the bright side, we'll always have his movies to remember him by anytime we miss him. R.I.P Bruiser. You may be gone, but you will not be forgotten!
