This could be awkward...or not.
We have to wait until Monday night to find out who Bachelor Ben Higgins chooses to spend the rest of his life with, but thanks to a clip just posted by The Bachelor twitter account, we know who his mom would choose.
"If I was to make that decision for Ben today, if it depended on me, I would pick Jojo," Ben's mom, Amy, says tearfully. She even apologizes for saying it, probably so as not to offend Lauren B., her other potential daughter in-law.
If Ben ends up picking Jojo, the 24 year-old real estate developer, then it's a beautiful moment. If he picks 25 year-old flight attendant Lauren...well, let's just say we don't really want to spend holidays with the Higgins family and Ben's new fiance.
"Jojo is way more my style," Ben's mom explains. "Just because you referred to her as the first person who will reassure me and tell me it's gonna be OK, and that, for me, is really all I needed to hear."
Ben, on the other hand, couldn't be more confused.
"I never thought in my life that I could be in love with two people at one time," he says. "I could picture both Jojo and Lauren being my wife. I have no idea who I could be saying goodbye to at this point."
Meanwhile, we're still coming to terms with the fact that we're about to say goodbye to another season of The Bachelor, which we are simply not ready to do. We love you, Ben Higgins. Can't you spend the rest of your life with us?
The Bachelor season 20 finale airs Monday, March 14 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
