This year's SXSW Film Festival kicks off tomorrow night and the lineup, as usual, has something for everyone.
From documentaries to feature films and the return of Pee-wee Herman, the festival runs for nine days and is sure to launch lots of buzz for a number of flicks.
Here, I give you seven movies we can't wait to see at SXSW.
Everybody Wants Some: The festival's opening night movie from director Richard Linklater is described as the "spiritual sequel to Dazed and Confused." The film follows a newbie college baseball player (Glee's Blake Jenner) as he gets to know his teammates. The cast also includes Scream Queens hottie Glenn Powell, Zoey Deutch and Ryan Guzman.
Midnight Special: Michael Shannon is the father of a son who possesses special powers and the two are on the run from the government and religious extremists. Rounding out the cast are Kirsten Dunst, Joel Edgerton and Adam Driver.
Pee-wee's Big Holiday: Yup, he's back. This time around, Pee-wee (Paul Reubens) takes his first vacation. Joe Manganiello, Tara Buck, Jessica Pohly, Stephanie Beatriz and Alia Shawkat join Pee-wee for his latest adventure.
Before the Slenderman: This documentary follows the trial of Morgan Geyser and Anissa Weier, who were 12 years old when they stabbed a schoolmate 19 times in 2014 because they believed the fictional Slenderman would kill them if they didn't.
War on Everyone: Alexander Skarsgård and Michael Peña star in this screwball comedy as two corrupt cops who try to blackmail and frame criminals. Their plans take a turn for the worst when someone refuses to cave. Theo James and Creed's Tessa Thompson co-star.
The Other Half: Real life couple Tatiana Maslany and Tom Cullen star as a bipolar woman and a grieving man who fall in love and try to make it work despite their personal struggles.
The Art of Organized Noize: Interviews with Puff Daddy, Future, Ludacris, CeeLo, L.A. Reid, Big Boi and more help tell the story of Organized Noize, the Dirty South music pioneers behind Outkast, Goodie Mob and Dungeon Family.
