This Thursday, the 54-year-old actor will be honored and is set to receive the 2,576th star that will be located at 7013 Hollywood Boulevard.
The Mexican actor shared a video on Instagram of him helping to place his name on the cemented star.
"Today I went to help with all of the preparations of my star…the date is March 10 at 11:30 am #EugenioDerbez #DerbezStar #EstrellaDerbez #WalkofFame," Derbez titled the video.
It's a deserved accomplishment for the actor, who in 2013 wrote, directed and starred in Instructions Not Included, which earned more than $100 million and became the most successful Spanish-language film ever in the U.S. and worldwide.
The talented Latino will also star in Sony's Miracles From Heaven, with Jennifer Garner, Martin Hendersen and Queen Latifah.
Derbez plays a character inspired by Children's Hospital specialist Dr. Samuel Nurko, an American-based Mexican pediatric gastroenterologist who eases his young patients' treatment by playing games with them.
