Have the music gods answered our prayer? Are Justin Timberlake and The Weeknd teaming up for a duet—or is this all just a magic trick?

While a potential dual track remains to be seen heard, the multi-Grammy winner and "In the Night" singer hit the town together. Not before long, the former NSYNC band member ran into his childhood friend, famed American magician David Blaine

"This dude, @davidblaine is THE BEST IN THE BIZ. Me and @abelxo are TRIPPIN' right now!!!! Known him since I was 19 and he still blows me away with his talent!," Timberlake captioned a selfie of the three men on Instagram.

The Weeknd weighed in on the trio, sharing the same photo on his own social media while dubbing the group, "OG's," a slang term meaning original gangsters.

The new dad, whose son Silas is almost a year old, has kept a low profile since becoming a dad. After a two-year music hiatus, his new baby has inspired the musician to take on a different style than fans would expect from the sultry singer. He not only will be voicing a character in the upcoming children's film, Trolls, but will also serenade the audience in the process.

"I have always envisioned bringing the two worlds of film and music together for one epic event [and] couldn't be more excited that they will collide in DreamWorks' Trolls," Timberlake said in a press release obtained by E! News.

"This film is very special, the music is going to be very special and I can't wait for everyone to experience it all."

While we're sure baby Silas can't wait to hear his dad on the silver screen, once Timberlake's schedule clears up, we're crossing our fingers that he and The Weeknd can hop in the studio together and make some musical magic.
