The 32-year-old reality star and father of three was spotted soaking in the sun while poolside Thursday in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, with three models. Disick has reportedly been staying with Girls Gone Wild creator Joe Francis and his girlfriend Abbey Wilson at Francis' home.
While Kourtney Kardashian's former partner was busy on the phone and drinking water in this particular photo, his vacation has not been entirely sober. Earlier in the week, Disick was photographed drinking what appeared to be a beer and a mixed drink while also smoking a cigarette.
Having sought treatment in rehab on four separate occasions—most recently in October 2015 for alcohol abuse—Disick's renewed drinking is a bright red flag that he's resorted to his tumultuous party ways again.
"It's very safe to say Scott is no longer interested in recovery," a source told E! News. "He's been drinking and partying for the last several weeks. This is what he wants. This is what he's choosing. The friends he's hanging out with aren't helping."
Signs of distress were clear a few weeks earlier when Scott was supposed to attend New York Fashion Week, but bailed on his plans and partied every night instead.
"From the minute he touched down, he's been a trainwreck. All anyone can assume is that he met up with the wrong people—people who don't really care about his well-being—and one drink led to another which led to another," a source told E! News at the time.
"None of these people give a damn if he's healthy or not...they just want to party," the source added. "Scott's back to spiraling."
While Scott is in the midst of his own personal struggles, his ex is feeling better than ever.
"Kourtney actually is really enjoying being single," a second source told E! News. "She feels confident and sexier then ever. A big weight has been lifted off of her since she started to put herself first."
While she has not gotten back together with Disick, they are remaining amenable for the sake of their three children, Mason, Penelope and Reign.
"She is on fine terms with Scott for the kids," the source added. "If one day they get back together, then only time will tell, but the time is not now."
