Can't remember the name of that one movie with that one actress who did that one thing? Same. Val.ai is your new favorite piece of technology if that description sounds anything like you. According to Engadget, Val.ai is capable of identifying thousands of characteristics from your favorite films to help you find the one in which you've been searching. Instead of annoying your friends, you can ask Val.ai questions like "What movie has a character named Regina George?" Seriously, how cool is that?

We tried it, and it came up with the exact match; Mean Girls. So dope! If you'd like to give it a test run, you can try a web version out for yourself. Engadget notes, the company says Val.ai was made for providers of content such as Netflix, in order to "reach down into their video content, identify it and make it searchable in real-time." Loves it. No more whipping out your phone to search for titles in the middle of Netflix and chill. Praise.

What do you think of this new technology? Would you find it useful or not? Tell us your thoughts in the comments!
