Step 1: Have a baby. Step 2: Join Dancing with the Stars!

Those are the totally simple and not at all difficult and badass instructions for following in the footsteps of Good Morning America's chief meteorologist, Ginger Zee. Sources tell E! News that Zee will be stepping onto the dance floor for season 22.

UPDATE: Dancing With the Stars made it official on Friday, March 4 and announced Zee would be competing with Val Chmerkovskiy.

Zee and husband Ben Aaron announced the birth of their son, Adrian, on December 20, and Zee has been on maternity leave from Good Morning America ever since. She returns on Monday. ABC does not comment on casting rumors, but it just so happens that Good Morning America is where all of the Dancing with the Stars casting announcements are officially taking place, so this one will be pretty convenient.

In case you're somehow worried that this meteorologist might not have the movies, we already know that Zee can hold her own when it comes to dancing with a DWTS pro. In the video below, she and Derek Hough (who is unfortunately not dancing as a pro this season) put on a pretty good show:

That video is from 2014, so really, it's about time that Zee is joining the competition. So far, that competition also includes Jodie Sweetin and Nyle DiMarco

Sweetin's casting was announced on Good Morning America this morning, along with the name of her partner. The Fuller House star will be dancing with Keo Motsepe, who hasn't made it very far in the competition yet, but we kind of feel like Sweetin might help change his luck.

E! News also reported that America's Next Top Model winner DiMarco will be competing, which means this is already shaping up to be one fun (and hot) season of Dancing with the Stars

Season 22 of DWTS premieres Monday, March 21, at 8 p.m. on ABC.
