If you can't depend on family, who can you depend on? In the above exclusive clip from The Mysteries of Laura season two finale, Debby Ryan returns as Lucy Diamond, Laura's (Debra Messing) trouble-making half-sister. But Aunt Lucy is actually an asset this time.
It seems Lucy has quite a way with Laura's twins, even saving them from seeing the tragic events of the press conference. "My remote game is on point," she says in the clip above. Laura is stressed beyond belief, and that's when little sister comes in with the pep talk.
"Listen, I've been an aunt for about three days, so basically an expert. A parent can only do so much," she says. And she even helps Laura with the kidnapping case.
In the finale, "The Mystery of the End Watch," the team takes down a drug kingpin, but not without suffering some tragedy. Meanwhile, Jake (Josh Lucas) makes a big decision that could affect his future with Laura. Jenna Fischer, Mercedes Ruehl and Scott Cohen also guest star in the big season-ender.
Ryan shot to fame on the Disney Channel with a role on The Suite Life on Deck and later starred as Jessie in Jessie. The series fan from 2011-2015.
The Mysteries of Laura airs Wednesdays, 8 p.m. on NBC.
