Justin Bieber, Birthday, Instagram

Could it be? Is the ever-rambunctious Justin Bieber settling down as he turns another year older?

It's looking like it, folks!

The pop star rang in his 22nd birthday on Tuesday, and rather than celebrating at one of his go-to Hollywood scenes—like 1Oak nightclub or The Nice Guy restaurant—he opted to keep things relatively tame, spending time with his buddies in the mountains.

Though he did enjoy a few beers with the boys, the Biebs swapped out his skinny jeans and leather shirts for some pajama pants (Playboy pajama pants at that) and a thermal tee to relax by the fire at 10 o'clock on his birthday night.

Of course, he also made sure to snap a few birthday selfies from the couch for his fans, taking to Instagram to share them with his 60.2 million followers.

Despite his mature evening, however, Bieber proved he's not so grown up as to not be able enjoy some fun in the snow, taking to Instagram to share several snaps from his adventures.

In fact, one video shows him sledding down a hill, smiling from ear-to-ear as he makes his way to the bottom. "This is a little kid smile," he captioned the black and white video.

The innocence!

But in all honesty, we shouldn't be terribly surprised by his calm festivities. Bieber has made it a strong point to clean up his act quite a bit over the last year—something he credits God for helping him do.

"I feel like that's why I have a relationship with Him, because I need it," he told GQ in a revealing interview in February. "I suck by myself. Like, when I'm by myself and I feel like I have nothing to lean on? Terrible. Terrible person."

We're glad to see him doing better. Cheers to growin' up, Biebs!
