Fuller House, Full House

The Tanners are sticking around. Netflix officially announced Wednesday that Fuller House will return for a second season on the streaming platform. The Full House sequel series stars Candace Cameron Bure, Andrea Barber and Jodie Sweetin and features cameos from original Full House cast members Bob Saget, John Stamos, Lori Loughlin, Scott Weinger and Dave Coulier.

Fuller House debuted on Friday, Feb. 26. The second season's premiere date was not announced. Rather, a tweet announced it will be "coming soon to Netflix."

The new sitcom follows Cameron Bure's D.J. Tanner-Fuller, now a widowed mom of three boys, who moves back to her childhood home and enlists the help of younger sister Stephanie (Sweetin) and best friend Kimmy Gibbler (Barber) to help raise her growing family. Throughout the first season, original cast members made cameos as the three women navigated their new lives as "sister wives" (their term!) and D.J. began dating once again.

Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen declined to appear in the revival, but they didn't stop the show from referencing them and their character, youngest Tanner sister Michelle. In the series, Michelle is busy in New York running her fashion empire, a nod to what Mary-Kate and Ashley are really doing with their lives. However, series creator Jeff Franklin told E! News he's hopeful one or both of the twins will come around in the second season.

"I am still hopeful that Mary-Kate or Ashley or both of them will come back and be a part of it, even if it's just for an hour. We miss that. Everybody does feel that hole in the family," Franklin said before the showed premiered. "But it's like, all family reunions, there's always somebody that doesn't show up. But hopefully next time around, we'll have them back."

Let the speculation begin!

Fuller House season one is now streaming on Netflix.
