Emily Maynard Is Pregnant Again, Expecting Third Child

Former The Bachelor contestant is married to Tyler Johnson

UPDATE:  Emily Maynard tells E! News, "Finding out we were pregnant again, when Jennings was only 6 months was a surprise to say the least, but it was a fun surprise and we are beyond thrilled about our new little one coming!"

Congratulations are in order, as Emily Maynard is pregnant again!

This will be her second child with husband Tyler Johnson, whom she married in June 2014. She also has one daughter, 10-year-old Ricki, whom she had with Ricky Hendrick, her NASCAR fiancé who passed away in a plane crash in 2004 when he was only 24. Maynard gave birth to her second child, Jennings Tyler Johnson, in July and joked in her People pregnancy blog that she should've remembered that she would be "super fertile" after giving birth.  

"When this baby gets here, Jennings will be about 15 months old and even though I'm sure he'll have no clue what's going on, I feel a little guilty just because he didn't get to be the baby for very long!" she confessed.

The I Said Yes author also admitted that shortly after Jennings was born she "couldn't wait" to have another; she just didn't think it would happen this quickly. "I truly couldn't be more excited," she said. "Some of my closest friends have had a really hard time getting pregnant and my heart breaks for them, so I'm just so grateful for this blessing God has given our family."

The former The Bachelor and The Bachelorette star met Johnson at church and became engaged shortly after New Year's 2014. After giving birth to Jennings she told a radio station that she and her hubby want to have "a lot" of children, and it already seems they're well on their way! With a boy and a girl under Maynard's belt, she wrote in her blog that she has no preference when it comes to her future child's sex. Her daughter, however, is hoping for a younger sister. 

"Ricki is really hoping it's a girl so she can teach her how to be a tomboy and play soccer!" she wrote. As for Jennings, Maynard is just happy that he'll have a "built-in friend."
