The actress took home one of the biggest awards of the night for her haunting role in Room, and now that her Oscars acceptance speech is out of the way it's time to start fielding all those well-wishes. First up is none other than Miles Teller.
The actor, who will be seen reprising his role as Peter in next month's The Divergent Series: Allegiant, and Larson go way back—all the way to 2013, when they were both Hollywood newcomers. They starred in the indie darling The Spectacular Now, playing a high school's most popular couple (before Teller's character struck up a relationship with Shailene Woodley, of course). Miles decided to honor his former costar by throwing it back to that beloved flick.
"I never should've let her break up with me in Spectacular Now!" he wrote on Twitter shortly after her big win. "Congrats @brielarson."
Larson has yet to respond on the social media site, but something tells us she's pretty busy celebrating right now. We should also note that Miles wasn't the only former costar of Brie's to show her some love on her big night. Amy Schumer took to Instagram, writing a simple but happy "Yay @brielarson!"
And let's not forget her fellow Don Jon actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who gave his own exclamation.
In other words, Brie's night just keeps getting better.
