There's no doubt that Whoopi Goldberg is an Oscars pro.

The star has been enlisted a whopping four different times to host the awards show (most recently in 2002), meaning she had some pretty solid advice to offer this year's host Chris Rock ahead of the night's festivities.

Dishing to E! News' Ryan Seacrest on the 2016 Oscars red carpet, Goldberg compared hosting the Academy Awards to a, "race horse ready to go and run," adding, "By now you know what you're kind of going to do and how you're gonna groove and you're open for all things that could happen that you're not thinking about. But really its about let's get this show on the road."

When it comes to prepping for live television's most unexpected moments, Whoopi says, "You just wait 'till it happens and roll with it."

And though Chris didn't reach out to Goldberg for any pre-Oscars pep talks, The View host is completely confident in his abilities. After all, this is the second time Rock has taken on the film industry's biggest night.

"He knows what he's doing," Goldberg said. "It''s one of those things when people have done it before you know the first six minutes are yours and the rest of the night people don't care. They wanna know, 'Did I win?' And once you now that it's all good."

There you have it! Whoopi just telling it like it is.
