And the Oscar goes to...Brie Larson!

Yes, the Room actress is taking home one of the most prestigious awards of the night and her very first Oscar, winning Best Actress in a Motion Picture for her role in Room and thus sweeping awards season overall!

She defeated a huge list of incredibly talented actresses, including: Jennifer Lawrence, Cate Blanchett, Saoirse Ronan and Charlotte Rampling.

Of course she couldn't help but thank everyone involved in making the Oscar-nominated film, including her adorable co-star Jacob Tremblay (who really won awards season).

"I want to start big because the thing that I love about movie making is how many people it takes to make it," Larson began before naming her director, team and the critics and film festivals that helped Room grow into a major motion picture.

"Jacob Tremblay, my partner through this, in every way possible," she continued. "To my real partner, Alex Greenwald, I love you the whole thing. My parents, my agent, my manger…my friends, my family. Thank you to everyone who participated in Room. Thank you to everyone who saw it. Thank you to the fans. Thank you to the moviegoers. Thank you for going to the theaters and seeing our films. I appreciate it. Thank you!"

No, thank you, Brie Larson, for your brilliant performance! Congratulations!
