No. No. Nope. No way. Not happening. Nope nope nope. We're not doing this. Not today. Not again. PLEASE NO.

On the one year anniversary of that damn dress ripping this great nation into pieces, we have someone else trying to start another dress debate. A Tumblr user uploaded a photo of an Adidas jacket and even though they clearly knew they would be opening the mouth of Hades in doing so, they asked the Internet what color the jacket was.

"I hate to make a new blue/black white/gold dress meme but my friend has this jacket and she says it's white and blue but i see black and brown pls tell me what you see," they wrote.

Why? Why are they doing this?! A mere 365 days ago, a dress that was black and blue or gold and white or green and orange or whatever divided this country and almost destroyed the Internet. And it's not just Tumblr. This jacket thing has spread onto Twitter and other websites. And yes, we are also posting a photo of it, but do you want to know why we're talking about this jacket that is VERY CLEARLY blue and white?!

To make sure this s--t doesn't happen again! Have we learned nothing from that stupid dress? History cannot repeat itself, you guys. Not today. Unless you are runaway llamas. In which case, please feel free to repeat yourself because those llamas were awesome.

Please, for the love of sanity, do not engage with this "debate." The jacket is clearly blue and white. Has anyone ever heard of lighting? It changes how things look. C'mon, guys. And even if you happen to see another color, just don't talk about it. Stand with us, people of the Internet, and stand up for killing this meme before it spreads further!

Today, there is only way to react when you see someone sharing that Adidas jacket:

YouTube

Everyone! Stand up on your chair and repeat after us: "We're fighting for our right to live, to exist! And should we win the day, the 26th of February will no longer be known as an American holiday, but as the day when the world declared in one voice, 'We will not go quietly into the night! We will not let this meme take over the Internet again! We're going to live on, we're going to survive.' Today we celebrate our independence day!"

Now go out there and kill. that. jacket!
