Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are getting more and more serious, but that doesn't mean she's cut all ties with her ex, John Mayer.

A source exclusively tells E! News, "Katy and Orlando are doing really well. They have been hanging out a lot over the past two months. They are a very chill pair...They both communicate great and laugh when they are around each other."

In fact, they've been having so much fun together, Bloom even introduced his new lady to his son, Flynn, who he shares with ex-wife, Miranda Kerr.

"Katy has met Flynn, and they get along wonderful," the source says. "She thinks he is so cute and such a well behaved kid! Katy would [also] like kids one day, and she is vocal about that."

However, despite the fact that the "Roar" singer and her hunky actor beau have taken a few "next steps" in their relationship, she still maintains communication with her ex-boyfriend.

A second source tells us, "Katy and John remain friends and care about each other. They just want to see each other happy. They have no animosity towards each other."

As for Mayer's own relationship status? The insider reveals, "John is casually dating at this time but not serious with anyone."

Another insider actually says the pair remain "very close," and Perry's friends "wouldn't be surprised" if they end up back together in the future. "This is just what they do," the insider explains.

Perry and Mayer have been on and off-again since they first started dating in 2012. They most recently rekindled their relationship in early 2015 before calling things off again in July.

Though she was spotted with the "Your Body Is a Wonderland" crooner at Disneyland in late December, Perry ended all speculation of them getting back together when she began hanging out with Bloom in January.

Not only did the pair attend several 2016 Golden Globes after parties together, they also met up with each other at Stella McCartney's Autumn 2016 Presentation and then enjoyed a fun night out in Los Angeles shortly after.

Most recently, they were photographed getting cozy at Adele's concert in L.A. and then again at a Grammys party the same weekend.

We can't help but wonder if we'll see them together this weekend during all the Oscars parties!
