John Legend and Chrissy Teigen may be experts in their respective fields, but as first-time parents-to-be, they have a growing new list of things to learn. Fortunately, their celebrity BFFs Kim Kardashian and Kanye West already have two babies under their belts and a wealth of personal insight to share—including where to shop and what to buy.
The West family spent Sunday afternoon at Calif. baby boutique Bel Bambini, little North West in tow, to peruse with Mr. and Mrs. Legend. Customers saw them buying a lot of clothing for their upcoming little girl, particularly pajamas and sleeping gowns. According to a source, Kim was there to help mom and dad pick and choose.
"Chrissy clearly had her there to pick her brain," the source added.
However, it looks like baby shopping can be just as exhausting as being pregnant. Mid shopping spree, Kim found her husband and daughter getting quite comfortable in the shop.
"So today we went baby shopping with @johnlegend & @chrissyteigen Kanye & North were a little too quiet. We found them passed out in the middle of the store," the 35-year-old mom explained on her Instagram account. Who ever said shopping wasn't an adequate workout?
According to Teigen, Kim has been at the helm of their pregnancy before there had even been a bump sighting. "Kim gave me advice from even before we started," the television personality told Ryan Seacrest on the Grammy Award red carpet. "She's been here the entire time, the entire process!"
Ever the fashionista, the reality star offered early insight on the former Sports Illustrated model's maternity wardrobe.
"She told me to go stretchy," Teigen told InStyle Australia. "I always wanted to be the person who showed off the bump because it looks beautiful and I think you should embrace it."
The beauty has certainly taken Kardashian's advice, sporting her bump proudly in curve-hugging gowns on virtually every red carpet since her pregnancy announcement.
With only a few more months until the baby finally arrives, we can't wait to see all the high-fashion maternity looks Teigen has saved up for the final weeks ahead.
