Own a freezer? You're halfway to having better skin.

Puffy and blotchy red skin is no one's best friend—especially when you have an early runway to walk. That's why makeup artists and models alike use ice rolling to whip their skin into shape.

If you're familiar with the old, cold spoon trick (where you pop two metal spoons in the freezer, leave them for a few minutes then put them on and around your eyes to banish dark circles), this beauty tool has a similar (but obviously a more professional) effect.

Basically, an ice roller's purpose is to get rid of fatigue, redness and puffiness on the face as well as around the eyes, making it the perfect gadget for celebrities who wake up with not-so-fresh faces the morning of an awards show. There are a couple added bonuses to using the tool as well: It's said to relieve tension from headaches and also fight those painful, swollen blemishes you can sometimes feel under your skin.

How It Works: The metal roller lives in your freezer—only use when the roller head is freezing cold. All you do is roll the tool in an upward direction over your cheeks, around your eyes and on your neck. The cold tightens your skin and the results, being a slimmer looking face and jawline, are amazing. Do this every morning for flawless skin!
