We give this Dancing with the Stars news 0 out of 10.

Julianne Hough will not be returning as a judge for season 22, E! News has confirmed.

After two seasons at the judge's table, Hough will be sitting out this season as Len Goodman returns. While we'd prefer to see them both up there at that table, we guess one of them is better than neither.

Head Judge Goodman was absent during season 21 because of prior commitments, and Julianne filled his seat. During season 20, they both served as judges, along with Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli.

While there's no word as to what will happen for season 23, it's possible that Hough could return.

"Julianne will always be a part of the Dancing with the Stars family and we hope to see her back in the ballroom in the future," DWTS producer Rob Wade told People, who first reported the news.

"I promise it's not the last you'll see of me in the ballroom," Hough also told People. "I will miss being on the panel for season 22, but have a lot of exciting stuff coming that I look forward to sharing."

Hough just recently starred as Sandy in Fox's Grease: Live, and now we're fearing that maybe she was too good. Maybe she was just so great at the hand jive that she no longer has time to sit at the judge's table and delight us on a weekly basis, which is unfortunate for us and other Dancing with the Stars fans, but maybe great for the world at large.

That's what we're going to tell ourselves, at least, as we suffer through a whole season of Dancing with the Stars with only one Hough.

And of course, we'll happily accept many more Tens from Len in her place.
