The X-Files is coming to an end, again, but fear not, Fox is simply calling the Monday, Feb. 22 episode a "season finale." Phew. And that season finale looks crazy as hell.

Appropriately titled "My Struggle II," the finale picks up the threads of the new conspiracy planted in the first episode of the revival, which was titled "My Struggle." As viewers learned during the Super Bowl, the opening scene is Scully (Gillian Anderson) discussing her past and present, including that whole alien DNA thing. Oh yeah, that alien DNA thing? According to the promo below, it could be in EVERYBODY.

Yep, Joel McHale, Lauren Ambrose, Robbie Amell and William B. Davis are all back for the big finale. They look a little…under the weather? What's above Mulder and Scully? They've both been abducted before. So many questions, but this is the biggest one: Is this the end the end?

"I don't think it's it for Mulder and Scully, but I have to say, there's no guarantee that we're coming back," series creator Chris Carter told E! News about the finale. "So, while I see Mulder and Scully and stories down the way, we end up on a very big cliff."

Oh boy.

For its part, Fox is very open to doing more, depending on the schedules of Anderson and David Duchovny.

The X-Files finale airs Monday, Feb. 22 at 8 p.m. on Fox.
