When it comes to the Grammys, always expect the unexpected.

Whether it's Lady Gaga in an egg, Pharrell Williams sporting the biggest hat ever or Rihanna launching a thousand memes, the Grammys red carpet is where it's at when it comes to seeing major stars, mega glamour and the most eccentric of ensembles all at once.

And we're expecting the 58th Annual Grammy Awards tonight to be no exception.

Giuliana Rancic and Ryan Seacrest are once again hosting E!'s Live From the Red Carpet and, rest assured, they'll make sure you have up-to-the-minute coverage of all the action unfolding at Los Angeles' Staples Center.

Kendrick Lamar leads the field heading into the 2016 Grammys with 11 nominations, including Album of the Year for To Pimp a Butterfly, and he's joined in the super-competitive category by Taylor Swift's 1989, Alabama Shakes' Sound and Color, Chris Stapleton's Traveller and The Weeknd's "Beauty Behind the Madness."

Adele will be making her long-awaited return to the Grammys stage as well to sing "When We Were Young"; and in addition to all of the Album of the Year nominees, the most anticipated performances include Lady Gaga's David Bowie tribute, Justin Bieber joining forces with Diplo and Skrillex; The Eagles' tribute to Glenn Frey with Bernie Leadon and Jackson Browne; and Gwen Stefani shooting the first-ever live music video on TV.

Early arrivals tonight included songwriter extraordinaire Diane Warren; folk singer-songwriter Brandi Carlile, a nominee for Best American Album for The Firewatcher's Daughter; and teen pop phenom Madison Beer, who will be performing during E!'s live coverage tonight.

We'd be even more excited for the show to get started if the red carpet wasn't so damn good first. Enjoy the 2016 Grammys!

Watch E!'s live 2016 Grammys red carpet coverage starting at 4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT on Monday, February 15th
