Gillian Anderson isn't afraid to tell it like it is.

The X-Files actress hopped on Facebook earlier today to slam a recent article that speculated that she had undergone plastic surgery.

In the report, it alleged that the 47-year-old had gotten work done on her cheeks, nose, lips, chin, forehead, eyes and neck (what else is there?!).

"If it weren't so sad, this bollocks would have made my day," the five-time Emmy Award winner wrote.

Then, several hours later, she followed up with a photo of herself present day and added, "This is how I really look! #agingwithoutshame."

Just last month, Anderson opened up to The Edit about aging in Hollywood and how she has worked to feel comfortable in her own skin.

"I like women a lot, and I champion them," she shared. "I tell people when they are beautiful. I tell other actresses when I think their work is amazing. So I think women feel relatively comfortable in my presence. Also, because I'm not perfect, you know?"

Anderson added, "I've got flabby thighs, I'm aging and I'm 5'3. I talk about my failing in contemporary society in terms of gyms or food or whatever. I think there's a polite appreciation that I'm honest."

Forget polite, try full appreciation.
