Was there really one lone gunman when President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in 1963?
The cast of Hulu's newest original series, 11.22.63, shared their real thoughts about the event when E! News spoke to them about their new show, which follows James Franco's Jake Epping, who travels back in time to prevent the assassination.
It's based on Stephen King's novel, which presents a fully formed theory about what actually happened on that fateful day, but the cast still did some research into the conspiracy theories surrounding the catastrophe.
"What my character is trying to determine is, is there one killer, are there multiple? If I'm going to stop this, then I need to kind of know if what I'm trying to do is going to be effective," Franco tells us. But what does he think actually happened?
Josh Duhamel says, "I don't think that [Lee Harvey] Oswald acted alone, but I don't think that they would have been able to coordinate the way that some people say they did."
And what about other conspiracy theories—where does the cast stand on some of pop culture's not-actually-lingering mysteries (well, they are according to some far corners of the Internet), like whether Elvis and Tupac are still alive, or whether Beyonce actually had her baby?
"I think that there are other planets out there with intelligence much further along than ours," teases Duhamel. But Bigfoot and the Loch Ness Monster? Forget about it.
