Beyoncé's new music is already in full "formation."

No stranger to the art of surprise, the 34-year-old Grammy winner recently dropped an unexpected music video for "Formation" just a day before her grand return to the Super Bowl stage. The shocks didn't stop there.

During the actual game, where she performed the track for the first time live, the singer then announced an upcoming world tour, which had fans curiously speculating about an impending new album to top off the trifecta.

While the singer hasn't publicly confirmed the buzz, her stylist Ty Hunter divulged his boss' secret: there is in fact a new album coming and—shocker!—it's great.

"I've heard the new album. It's beyond awesome. It's great," he told Andy Cohen while bartending on a segment of Watch What Happens Live Monday.

Though the revelation seems serendipitous, Beyoncé typically keeps tabs on her team in the name of work privacy.

"There have been times when the crew doesn't know what the project is and they don't find out till on set," a source shared with E! News exclusively.

When you're as high-profile of a performer as Beyoncé, such a unique work style is arguably necessary. While attempting to pull off some of the biggest musical surprises in history—including her self-titled 2013 album, which was unexpectedly dropped on iTunes without warning—it's essential for the singer to maintain the loyalty of those working closest to her.

"It's Beyoncé: no one is about to cross her or leak information that she doesn't want out there," a source told E! News. "If they do, they know they don't stand a chance of working with her again."
