After Kaley Cuoco took on pop princess Britney Spear's iconic hit, "Slave 4 U" on Lip Sync Battle, it was time someone tried fellow chart-topping queen Christina Aguilera's equally seductive hit "Lady Marmalade." Hayden Panettiere was up for the challenge as she battled against Eva Longoria

The 26-year-old mom strapped on a red bedazzled top, glittering crown and a massively crimped blond mane to channel the musical diva's performance in the 2001 music video featuring Pink, Mya and Lil' Kim. The award-winning video was visually unforgettable, inspired by Baz Luhrmann's hit film, Moulin Rouge!

As the Nashville actress got comfortable in her groove, she was joined by one very special backup singer—Aguilera herself. The Voice coach stepped out onto the stage after revealing her face behind a feathered fan.

Without missing a beat, the songstress looked like she hadn't aged a day since she first stepped out on the stage as a 20-year-old Hollywood newcomer. In fact, Aguilera and Panettiere could have easily passed for twin sisters.

Unfortunately, the teaser for Thursday night's upcoming episode still left a lot to the imagination, encouraging reveries of a potential sing-off or in-tandem dance routine. We're crossing our fingers.

Regardless of what the duo has in store for Panettiere's battle round, the clip has done a good job of conjuring up our early 2000s fashion choices. We suddenly can't shake the memory of Bonne Bell's cappuccino lip gloss and body glitter—you know, the millennium teen's essentials.
