Bristol Palin's Son Tripp Gets an Adorable Surprise Lunch Visit From His Baby Sister Sailor

It was a picture-perfect afternoon meal

Well, that's what we consider a picture-perfect lunch date. 

Bristol Palin made a very important pit stop Thursday afternoon when she dropped by her son Tripp's school for lunch. To his delight, mom brought his brand new little sister Sailor Grace along for the visit. 

In an adorable candid photo shared on social media, 7-year-old Tripp tightly cradled his 1-month-old sibling at the lunch table while sporting head to toe camouflage wear. 

"Lunch with a loved one at school today," the mom of two captioned the shot. Love seems to be an understatement—the little guy looks absolutely elated to see her. 

It seems little lady Sailor has captured the heart of nearly every member of the Palin clan. A few weeks earlier, she had officially met her uncle, Bristol's youngest brother Trig Palin. 

It was love at first sight. "Trig officially loves her #mybrotherhasmorechromosomesthanyou," the former Dancing With the Stars contestant captioned the picture. 

Though Bristol's family is visibly elated to have a new baby in the clan, one member still remains a mystery—Sailor's father. 

While she has not yet named Sailor's dad, Bristol's second ex-fiance, 27-year-old Dakota Meyer filed for joint custody of the baby girl, court records show. The couple called off their wedding in May 2015. 

While Palin has not publicly responded to the claims, the former United States marine gushed over the baby after her birth, tweeting a photo of her in the hospital with the caption, "Best Christmas present ever!! I couldn't be more proud of this little blessing."
