Fox just released footage of Jessie from the Grease: Live soundtrack recording session, doing her thaaang on the show's title track and it's got us even more excited about the live event. In the track, the pop star's backed up by the show's all-star cast and the video features our first look at Aaron Tveit, Julianne Hough, Vanessa Hudgens, and company in action as they rehearse for Sunday's main event. Hoo boy, we're in for a treat.
Grease: Live also stars Carly Rae Jepsen, Keke Palmer, Carlos PenaVega, Kether Donohue, David Del Rio, Jordan Fisher, Andrew Call, and Ana Gasteyer as Principal McGee. Beyond Jessie's cameo at the top of the show, Boyz II Men are on tap to harmonize on "Beauty School Dropout" as Jepsen's Teen Angel(s) and Joe Jonas' band DNCE will play the part of Johnny Casino and the Gamblers in the famous hand jive dance number.
