Arrow Reveals Felicity's Fate and Gives More Clues About Who's in That Grave

Arrow's midseason premiere also gave us more clues about who's in the grave

Well, at least Felicity's not dead!

We can all rest easy-ish because tonight's midseason premiere of Arrow found Felicity alive and well enough. Sure, she's paralyzed from the waist down thanks to damage to her spinal cord that could not be repaired, but all things considered, that's not too bad, right?

In all seriousness, that was heartbreaking. While Felicity endured multiple surgeries in the hospital, Oliver and Team Arrow worked to track down Darhk by any means necessary.

Those means involved a lot decisions that Team Arrow would not have been making if Felicity's life were not in danger. Diggle ended up beating up his brother in an effort to find out the location of Darhk's base of operations, and Oliver went against the rest of the team by releasing Anarky (who's back! surprise!) after Laurel had him arrested.

Everyone, however, still managed to make a few hospital visits, other than Oliver. He stayed far away from Felicity for just a little too long, to the point where we would have been pretty pissed if that was us in the hospital bed, and it was our fiance who hadn't spoken to us since we almost died.

When Oliver finally did go see Felicity (and only because everyone else made him), she was in unbelievably good spirits and was totally not mad at him like she should have been, but she was scared that he no longer wanted to marry her.

He put her ring back on her finger and kissed her sweetly, reassuring her that of course he wanted to marry her, which was cute and all, but he still neglected to visit her through probably some of the hardest times of her life, and that's just rude.

Their little reunion was over before we knew it, and Oliver had to get back to his revenge mission. He ended up having to save Damien's family from Anarky, and in return, Damien gave him "a few weeks" more with his own family, so the clock is now ticking.

Four months later, Oliver's back at the cemetery from the premiere. After talking to Barry, he joins a very alive Felicity in the car, and she's definitely not in such good spirits anymore. She's got angry tears streaming down her face, and she tells Oliver he has to "kill that son of a bitch" in a way that makes us feel like this is personal, like maybe it's her mother (or her mother's boyfriend, perhaps?) who's lying in that grave.

But again, it could be anyone. We don't even know for sure that Felicity's referring to Damien. All we know for sure is that this war is not going to end well for anybody we know and love, and we've got a hard four months ahead of us.

Arrow airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on the CW.
