New mom-to-be Chrissy Teigen is no stranger to fashion—after all, the former Sports Illustrated cover girl has been modeling since she was just a teenager.

However, now months along into her first pregnancy—she's expecting a baby girl with husband John Legend—she has an incredibly famous friend to offer some advice on dressing a baby bump: Kim Kardashian

"She told me to go stretchy," she told InStyle Australia. "I always wanted to be the person who showed off the bump because it looks beautiful and I think you should embrace it."

Teigen certainly has. The FABLife cohost is never one to conceal her bump, as displayed in her stunning embrace for the February issue.

"Kim does that well and I love seeing that belly of hers and I know Kanye [West] does too," she added. "We're lucky to be with men who find pregnancy sexy. Thank God!"

While she's certainly fashion forward, the brunette beauty shared one closet staple she wanted in her fashion arsenal throughout the entire nine months.

"There's this one Wolford tube dress that you can fold a million different ways, you can make it a skirt, a this, that. I bought it in every colour in small, medium, large, in anticipation of the entire process, so I have, like, 45 of them," she said.

While Teigen has no qualms about her growing belly, the foodie is careful to keep a food and fitness equilibrium.

"With me, it's always been a tough balance—when I work out I can eat whatever I want, but I come from a family where we blow up really quickly; so does John," she admitted. "It's like we have a bad weekend and you can tell. So we are really conscious of having a nice balance."

Unlike her pregnant physique, picking a baby name for their firstborn is a bit of a puzzle for the famous pair.

"We change the name every day, basically," she joked.

Baby decorating is a whole other conundrum.

"Nurseries have always been silly to me because everyone always wants them to be so beautiful and so perfect," she admitted. "But, this thing is just going to barf everywhere and poop everywhere."
