Khloe Kardashian has an idea about how Rob Kardashian got to where he is today.

While appearing on Watch What Happens Live Sunday night, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star was asked by a caller if her brother blames any of his sisters for his personal struggles.

With no hesitation, Khloe pointed out that Rob has been experiencing "issues" for a wide variety of reasons.

"I don't think he blames any of us. We talk about stuff all the time. I think Rob hit a dark place more so dealing with my dad's death," she explained to Andy Cohen and viewers at home. "His wish was always for Rob to go to college. When Rob finished that, okay what do I do next? He had no direction. I think he felt lost there."

She continued, "Then breakups and all this stuff happened, which I think added to other things in his life."

While Rob has stayed away from filming the family's reality show, Khloe also contends that he enjoyed doing the series for many years. It's a sentiment Kris Jenner echoed this past week when she sat down for a candid interview with Maria Shriver.

"He wants to still come back and shoot the show, he just wants to feel good," Kris explained during Maria's Architects of Change: The Conversation Series event. "It's not that he doesn't want to be on the show, it's just he wasn't feeling good."

For now, a source tells E! News that Rob is "on the road to recovery" and receiving plenty of support from his mom and family members. But as Khloe reminded fans, it's ultimately up to Rob to make a difference.

"It's issues he had to deal with from the start that he just didn't. People need to take accountability for their own problems," Khloe explained. "I don't think other people deal with that."
