Star Wars: The Force Awakens star Adam Driver brought the power of the Dark Side and showed off his singing chops, performing a beloved Disney song, while hosting Saturday Night Live's first 2016 episode this weekend.

The 32-year-old actor, who plays villain Kylo Ren in the new sequel and is also known for his role as Adam in HBO's Girls, was joined by musical guest and country singer Chris Stapleton.

This marked Driver's SNL hosting debut.

Check out three highlights from the episode.

1. Undercover Ren

Driver reprises his Star Wars villain role in this Undercover Boss parody.

2. Golden Globes

Driver and Vanessa Bayer play a married couple who win Golden Globes, give their kids a shout-out during their speech as they watch from home...and then proceed to party just a little too hard at an after party.

3. Aladdin

Driver and Cecily Strong show off their not-so-bad singing skills as Aladdin and Jasmine, performing "A Whole New World," of course. Problem is, the romance fades as their magic carpet ride keeps getting intercepted.
