Child star Michael Galeota has died at the age of 31.

E! News confirms the Disney star, who starred in the film Clubhouse Detectives and the TV series The Jersey, was pronounced dead yesterday at his residence in Glendale, Calif.

The Los Angeles County Coroner's office tells E! News that Galeota had several health problems including abdominal pain, hypertension, and high cholesterol. It appears to be a natural death, but an examination is scheduled for tomorrow.

"It is with tremendous heartfelt sadness to announce the passing of Michael James Galeota on January 10th. He died peacefully at home," Galeota's loved ones, who started a GoFundMe page to help with funeral costs, wrote on the website.

"He was a precious gift—loving, giving, compassionate, joyful and intelligent.  A great inspiration for anyone that heard his genuine, humble, witty and joyful voice, or experienced his smile, laughter and love for just a moment. To know him was to love him," the post continued.

"His humble nature hid a great compassionate and loving human being, with a huge heart.  He cared profoundly for his family and friends.  Mike was a great giver, always ready and able to care for others.  Although his life was short, we are grateful and appreciate the experience of having been loved, and loved him in return, and for being in our lives. In our hearts and souls, he will always be with us."

In four hours, 31 people have donated a total of over $8,000 of the $25,000 goal. One especially noticeable donation was a hefty $5,000 from "Shia L.," which has yet to be confirmed whether or not it is fellow Disney star Shia LaBeouf.

The post concludes, "Please help us to provide a burial that is worthy of a GIVER."
