Jaimie Alexander ditched the Blindspot tattoos for the 2016 Golden Globes, but she didn't leave home without her trusted…adhesive. Alexander, decked out in a stunning green Genny dress and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, revealed adhesive keeps her tattoos in place for her show and her dress for the red carpet.

"A little bite of eye makeup, this and that and lots of tape," Alexander told E! News' Giuliana Rancic about her look on E!'s Live From the Red Carpet. "I can't go anywhere without adhesive."

Alexander stars as Jane Doe on the hit NBC drama. She's a butt-kicking woman covered in tattoos with no memories. "It is the most fun I have ever had on any job," she admitted. "It definitely keeps me on my toes with all the fighting and different languages. It's amazing."

For the role, Alexander has to sit for hours—up to seven sometimes—to get the fake tattoos painted on. The key to not losing her mind during it? "A ton of coffee," good music and some deep conversation that happens when things could be a little awkward.

"Usually when I'm not very clothed we'll talk about each other's families…Super awkward as you're painting in certain areas, but we have a good time. It's good people," she said.

Blindspot airs Mondays, 10 p.m. on NBC and has already been renewed for a second season. Don't miss the Fashion Police Golden Globes special, Monday at 8 p.m., only on E!

(E! and NBC are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
