The Hollywood Foreign Press Association will be handing out the awards on Sunday and the movie competition is tough!
Best Motion Picture Drama sees everything from the sure-to-be journalism classic Spotlight to Mad Max: Fury Road with Charlize Theron in all her shaved head glory.
In the comedy category, Amy Schumer's raunchy Trainwreck is facing off with the likes of the economics flick The Big Short.
Who will be going home with golden statuettes this year?

Hardly a critical word has been uttered about director Tom McCarthy's ensemble piece about the Boston Globe's investigation into the cover-up of child molestation within the Catholic Church. It feels like a thriller with heart and is also the front runner for the Oscar. If the HFPA takes one of its wacky turns, we just might see box office action hit Mad Max sneak in for the win.

Who will win: The Big Short
Trainwreck was the funniest movie of the year, but it's also really raunchy. The HFPA will go for The Big Short with its blend of brains (it is a movie about the financial collapse of the mid-2000s) and LOLs (Selena Gomez and Margot Robbie cameos to explain complicated economics!).

Alicia Vikander, The Danish Girl
Who will win: Brie Larson
Room is the little indie movie that could and it did, especially because of Larson's powerful performance. It's just a shame, her nine-year-old co-star Jacob Tremblay didn't get a nom. Larson's biggest competition has to be Ronan. Brooklyn's immigration story surely resonates with many members of the HFPA.

Who will win: Leonardo DiCaprio
Leo will likely add a third Globe to the two he already has on his mantel. However, the HFPA could shock us all by picking someone else in an effort to prove they're different than the Oscars because DiCaprio will finally take home an Academy Award when they're handed out next month.

The movie may not win best picture because of its NSFW naughtiness, but Schumer is just too funny and loved to be ignored. But wouldn't it be great if she tied with her pal Jennifer Lawrence?!

Bale and Carrell cancelled each other out and very few have seen Ruffalo and Pacino's flicks, so it's a perfect (and well-deserved) landing for Mr. Damon.

The acting legend is only in Youth for a few minutes, but her performance (and Joan Crawford-esque look) was unforgettable. However, Leigh could be awarded for her work as the lone female co-star of Quentin Tarantino's bonanza of testosterone.

Who will win: George Miller
Spotlight is the front runner to win best picture, but Mad Max is the bigger movie. Miller shows Hollywood that you don't have to rely on CGI to make an action masterpiece.
