It's a little Dirty Dancing meets The Notebook for Christina Aguilera and her fiancé Matthew Rutler.

The Grammy winner and her longtime beau embraced each other in the great outdoors in a grand display of affection.

From the looks of a photo the singer shared on her Instagram account, it appears Aguilera leapt into the arms of her soon-to-be husband in the pouring rain, flicking her feet up in the process as she held on tightly around Rutler's neck.

We couldn't help but have flashbacks to the iconic scene from Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdam's 2004 romance in The Notebook.

As poor country boy Noah Calhoun and sophisticated city lady Allie Hamilton, the former lovers famously reunite years after they end their teenage summer romance only to (spoiler alert!) ferociously make out in the rain.

Much like the silver screen moment, it's clear sparks are exploding between these real-life lovebirds.

The fire has been heating up between these future newlyweds, who welcomed daughter Summer Rain Rutler together in August 2014.

The cozy pair kicked off 2016 with a cuddle session during a Steelers football game in the first week of January.

"Wrapped in love & happiness," The Voice coach wrote. "Great way to kick off the New Year! Go Steelers!"

Love, happiness and possible nuptials for 2016? While they have been engaged now for nearly two years, Aguilera admitted in 2015 that she was in no rush to walk down the aisle, considering she had just given birth and was set to return to her post on The Voice.

"Our love is secure enough that we don't need a wedding to prove our love and commitment," she told People. "We are enjoying our daughter, our family and our work for now."

Now that life has settled down a bit, could the wedding bells officially ring some time in the next 12 months? Guess we'll just have to stay tuned.
