Twinning!

Prince George may be the most adorable schoolboy in all of Britain, but he has two genetically-gifted parents to thank for that.

While the blond cherub was too cute for words as he took his first steps over to the Westacre Montessori School all zipped up in the chilly January air, we had flashbacks of his famous father on his first day of school.

Thirty years ago, a 3-year-old Prince William gripped a navy blue striped sweater as he made his way to Mrs. Mynor's Nursery School dressed in all red, including a gingham collared shirt, solid shorts and Mary Jane shoes.

Three decades later, his first son seems to have taken a fashion note from his dad, sporting a red checkered pattern on the inside of his coat's hood. As for his blond locks, there's no question where he inherited those enviable tresses—the windblown hair in both photos is nearly identical.

To complete the picturesque twinning moment, the boys seem to even sport the same open-mouthed pose as they prepare for the first moments of their school careers.

While he may appear to be a carbon copy of Will, Prince George and a 3-and-a-half year old Kate Middleton also share some uncanny similarities, including the same big, beautiful eyes.

Both bundled up, mum and son also appear to have curiosity in common as both tots open their eyes to the world around them.

Now, we must bide our time until Princess Charlotte celebrates her first day of school—only three more years.
